Very few sightings of ER wave 3 nationwide. I have an uneasy feeling Kingdom will come and wave 3 won't be ordered. Kmart and Big W generally have been out of ER for several weeks. The lastest stock has been SS86. So maybe they are bypassing wave 3 for Kingdom. I'm hanging my hat on Myer and Target, which are at wave 2 now to bring in wave 3. Toymates in Perth seem to have nothing or wave 1, so maybe they will have wave 3 in time (they don't seem to have as much problem holding onto or getting older stock unlike Kmart and Big W). Don't know about Toyworlds.

I ended up going the BBTS route for wave 3, USD $84.99 for all 4, got the Doublecrosser battlemaster as well so I didn't miss out on him.

BIGW Narellan town center would tell me otherwise, as they had quite a number of Kups on hand when I picked mine up last Friday (in fact their numbers for Jazz, Kup and Blurr were very impressive).. I guess it could just be the luck of the store to the numbers available of a particular figure..

I was so excited when I called up and they found Airrazor, Huffer and Dinobot. They put them aside for me but when I showed up to collect them none of the Kingdom stuff would scan correctly and instead they scanned with a product recall notice on them.

I offered to pay the same as the Earthrise toys that were also on the shelves but the sales assistants (I tried my luck with a few of them) refused to sell them.

I'm confident there's no safety recall on the toys given they are currently being sold at multiple Toyworlds but I'm guessing this Myer has put it's Kingdom stock on the shelves too soon (or they've been blocked off for a sale).

Super annoying....the toys were within touching distance.

I note Morg176 saw wave 2 at Shellharbour Myer. I wonder if they scanned with the same recall notice?

Normally an item with an embargo on them, are clearly labelled as such on the cardboard boxes they're shipped in.

The two stores in Brisbane that I checked today had the same thing, with the register screen saying "product recall".
One store was refusing to sell them at all, saying that legally they are required to send back to the supplier any product listed on their system as "product recall", as it means there is something defective or unsafe.

In other words, I think someone at Myer changed the setting to prevent the toys being sold before April 1st, but put them under a code that they shouldn't have.

I've got some good news to report.

I called up Myer Eastgardens and the sale embargo on Wave 2 kingdom has been lifted.

The lady who helped me the last time I was there (when they couldn't sell the toys) remembered me and immediately put aside Inferno, Dinobot, Huffer and Airazor for me which I have subsequently collected. The toys scanned without a problem.

I guess karma was good to me. I ended up getting everything with the 20% sale discount so I actually saved heaps compared to if they sold me the toys a fortnight ago.

I saw Arcee, Dinobot and ? Paleotrex left on the shelves. I don't know if there are others out the back. Didn't see any Leaders.

I went the Amazon route for that wave of deluxes, no stores in my area ever got them. I have Amazon Prime so shipping was free, ended up being about the same cost.

As someone who has had requests rejected, Myer's price match policy isn't reliable, as they have the disclaimer of not discounting "below cost" which they could claim is anything, and if they reject the competitor price they won't at least go down to their minimum because it would give away their cost price.

At Kmart Broadway were two cases worth of Studio Series 86 (1 Wreckgar 2 Sweeps per case) - only 1 case worth after I bought mine.


Impressed with the process at both stores to ensure people had their vaccination declarations and their check-in, and the willingness to turn people away who couldn't show that evidence.
