Tru shellharbour has the first wave of the minicons.
They were smaller than I imagined they would be.
I bought dragonus. Its an ok figure with stuff all articulation.
Virtually no paint apps but I like it.
$10 is a bit much.
Ten/12 for two would be a real bargain

Doesn't seem like they know anything. All they show is what they have on their system. If its not on their system and they don't physically see it they just say its from America. I don't get why they bring stuff on their shelf and they have no records or what so ever on their system. Well, I'll try to go there today and have a look for it myself. If I do find it in hope that I do, I will ask them why their system failed and how come the staff are not properly looking. Its either laziness or not properly trained. Either way, I'll hope for the best. By the way, If i do get starscream I want to sell my MP Sunstorm.

I think Parramatta tends to keep a display one in a lock up cabinet near the (ever-shrinking) computer games section. You take a tag from the cabinet to the counter and they'll get one from out back.

Most of them usually only disappear during sale season, but for the most part they just shelfwarm, because no one is touching anything at that price.

I work for Toys R Us in Sydney. I have always lurked these forums as I tend to collect all sorts of toys, mainly Lego and Star Wars.. but lately I've found myself picking up the odd Masterpiece Transformer! (or two.. one to build, the other to keep in a box!).

Just a heads up we have just received Masterpiece G-2 Bumblebee and Masterpiece Lambor..

They retail for $129 and $149 respectively.

A lot of stores will not have these on show because they are bound to be stolen or get damaged. Or if they do put them on show they'll be secured so if you're a collector the box will most likely be mangled.

If you're a South-Western Sydney local, send me a PM and I can leave one aside for you, new in a box so it isn't damaged and handled.

If you're a VIP member, we are having 20% of all full price toys this weekend so it may be a good opportunity to pick them up then with the discount.

Yesterday I checked out North Rocks Kmart, Parra Kmart, TRU & Target, and Blacktown Kmart, and CW Hot Spot and Cyclonus were found at all locations. Parra TRU seems to have moved their G1 reissues and MPs out of the locked display cabinet in the games section to the regular TF section, which I think makes more sense. Although the MPs have those spider tags.

I for one have experienced the mssing thumb, good thing I've opened mine when I was still in Westfields ( parra) and managed to exchange immediately as there was only 2 left... second one I got was okay.

That's one way to catch up on the 3-steps - having waves 4 & 5 released with wave 3 (Steeljaw, which isn't very common here).

Not surprising about the 2016 Warriors showing up, as we might have long periods of no new stock, but when it does come to Australia it can often be at the same time as America (for just that wave).

I had to look up the kmart website, but you are right... they have a catalogue sale on at the moment (http://www.kmart.com.au/catalogue#view=catalogue2&saleId=10454&page=17) with RID warriors & transforming Titans being $20.
But the sale ends today (started November 8th), so too late for me to post it up as news. :(

I guess everyone missed this one, as the stores have been so slow with stock in this country lately, and the catalogues rarely have Transformers in them anymore... it doesn't surprise me that no one saw this one.

Yeah Toymate Glendale got their shipment of Generations voyagers. Looooots of Rhinox. And the odd Whirl.

Kmart Glendale had latest RID wave and a few latest wave CW deluxes. Target had bugger all still.

Kmart Kotara had signs of receiving the latest RID wave (only blizzard prime). Toys r Us didnt have any. But had a few Masterpieces on show. Namely Optimus, Star Sabre and the smaller ones. Lots of Trypticons, few voyager CW Hotspot/Cyclonus but minimal CW deluxes. Target there has reduced their TF section to one bay and it wasnt anything worth.

Few reasons:
1. Prime and/or Beast Hunters didn't sell well, so the stores didn't pick up the Generations toyline
2. AOE was coming out and the stores preferred to stock that instead of the Generations toyline.
However with Whirl and Rhinox getting released at Toymate, wouldn't be surprised if all the generation toys get released at the Reject shop or something.

Charlestown Big W had nothing but RID Minicons and Deployers.
Charlestown Target had many many RID 3 Step Changers, including Fixit and lots of Thunderhoofs, and a handful of Generations Leader Armada and G1 Megatrons.
Charlestown Myer have 3 YOTG Soundwaves left (after I scored one), plenty of Laser Primes and Coneheads, lots of CW Wave 4 deluxes and newer legends (only Silverbolt for voyager), as well as the Sideswipe/Jazz/Gold Grimlock RID deluxe wave. Was tempted to get Sideswipe because of the 50% off second toy, but because they both were on sale SS was still at 24.95 and not 12ish D:

Or the store could just print up new sales tickets and resticker the batch of products instead of wasting time and energy of taking everything off the floor and then putting it back on the floor - because as we all know department stores aren't staffed like its 1985 ;)

The only time I have ever seen stock taken directly off the floor is if the items are to be quarantined, today the price gets corrected via intranet and stuff just gets new prices stickers. In most cases a conflicting sticker price will be honored.

Don't forget if there's two different prices stickered on an item both the store and the customer are right and the store may not honor it. This happens if there is suspicion that someone may have deliberately put a 2nd lower sticker price on the box. It happens, Delongi coffee maker for under $200? I think not.

Just because there's a saying, "the customer is always right" doesn't make it true and if you can't find a price or an item doesn't scan doesn't mean it's free. :rolleyes:

Both Target and Kmart Glendale had dwindling remainders. Kmart did have Fracture and Blizzard Prime still, and Target had Blackjack/Rodimus/G1 Leader Megatron.
