Kmart Stanhope Gardens had a heap of the HA wave 1 figures, a couple of Laserbeaks, and lots of Cyberverse wave 1 figures.

About a dozen of the HA Sideswipe figures for $25.

Went past Parra TRU around 12:30 today. There are quite a few MP- rodimii on the aisle shelves (about 6 atleast). I'm undecided on whether to get one or not as i'm not a huge fan of the paint job/ deco (looks very cheap)- although $80 (or $75 with voucher) is quite a bargain and really tempting.

the repainted bumblebee battlestation looks alot better then the wave 1 version.. and the white crankcase is different. and looks ok.

so i guess when you add it up seperate you have one commander one action set and two legends.. it probably comes out the same if you were to buy them seperate.

Big W Plumpton had the Bee and Prime, Jazz, Ratchet and Starscream kits on sale.
Not all prices were on the shelf (a mid aisle shelf) but the basic bee and Prime were $11.74 or something each.

Kmart Stanhope Gardens had Sentinel Prime, Optimus with trailer, Megatron, and Starscream. All expensive and squished in to a very small space in the odds and ends aisle, nowhere near the tf's or lego.

I love it, but I chose it as a test for the whole 'Lego' factor thing being that it was one of the medium sets and I wanted to give Kreo a fair go; IMO, after getting the set and playing with it you'll know whether or not you'll want to get more - just be warned dude, it's addictive! :D:cool:

Oh yeah - by the way!, Kreo sets have arrived at Big W Dapto peoples! :p

Interesting, no indication of any sale (other than 20% lego signs everywhere, an $80 ticket and not a single working electronic scanner, so I ahd to take the sticker price for face value.

I've been around Chatswood and campbletown and rhodes and all I have seen that's new is one deluxe ratchet at rhodes hobbyco. I'd say we're in a lull till all those commander leagion primes start to shift, then there will be more shelf space again...

I've been around Chatswood and campbletown and rhodes and all I have seen that's new is one deluxe ratchet at rhodes hobbyco. I'd say we're in a lull till all those commander leagion primes start to shift, then there will be more shelf space again...

Indeed, it seems quite clear that Aus has been let down once again by both Hasbro AU and AU Major Retail in general, though I'd like to make mention that I've been quite impressed with TRU this year - They've really started to pick-up their game IMO. :o

I agree that it looks like Online Retail is going to be getting more business at this rate, I know I'm not going to waste my time with Brick 'n' Mortars with the TF: Prime line that's for sure ;), Hasbro AU needs to reconsider it's distributors as does AU Retail but AU Retail also needs to quit this policy of: "Mass-Order everything in the 1st waves and let's sit on that till it sells" - What parent is going to buy their child/ren 5 of the same Prime or Bumblebee? :confused:

Worse still, I remember traipsing all around China and Taiwan looking for them!! :eek: Managed to find Kup and Scourge (about AU$20 each) and [i]United Wheeljack for AU$40! I also asked dirge to pick up Generations Warpath for me for $30 when he found it... then shortly afterwards I found it at my local Kmart for $25.

And yeah, now they're everywhere for $25 each... and Generations Wheeljack looks just fine! (I honestly would've been perfectly happy with him over the United version; like yeah, United Wheeljack is really nice, but NOT worth paying $40 for! :(). Damn it!!!

I don't feel too bad about paying $30 for Warpath, that's pretty much just full RRP. And while I did get Kup and Scourge at cheaper prices, I had to spend a LOT of time looking for them! (I honestly wouldn't mind paying the extra $5 each to save me the time and effort) -- but $40 for United Wheeljack??? Faaaaaaaarrrout... I'm still kicking myself over it! :( *sigh* I really hate paying above regular retail price for any toy.

Warrawong had one Ratchet Cyberverse playset a few weeks ago. They had to call down management because it wasn't in the system and wouldn't scan and noone knew where it came from. Been out a couple of times since then and they've had nothing.

if the pegs are full, there used to be some behind the front stacks. Otherwise, someone went thru them.

DOTM? - there's a few of ratchet and bee has so many repaints. You have to be specific

Try Woolworths in Shellharbour. Or any in the area. I know they had a few in Shellharbour at one point. I've brought most of my PCC from Woolworths in this area.

He's a bit unstable (well, mine is) but I still think he's worth it. And he has 2 hands! In a way he's better executed then Grimstine IMO.

morg176: Woolworths Shellharbour only has Crankcase, Mudslinger and Double Clutch. Your best bet would to check any Woolworths in the area. Thats your best (and only) bet. I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Yep, 2 full pegs of DOTM Deluxe BBs, The rest are Primes aside from x2 Mudflaps.
All the Voyagers are Primes, like x14 of 'em, bar x1 Sentinel Prime.
x6 Leader BBs, x2 Winged Leader Primes and x4 Ultimate Primes.


End caps have a whole tone of Cyberverse BBs and Primes in 2 different repaints each, x1 central display up the main aisle with x3 Voyager Megatrons, x2 Voyager Ironhides, x1 Shockwave and the rest?... Need I even say it? :rolleyes:

You expected Aussie retailers to sell things for the price they should be over the price they've been charging for years now? :p

Sad that when the Au$ was at 50US cents that the prices went up straightaway, and now weve been on parity for a year or more they still go up...

Regular consumers don't realise it though. Ones who are knew to buying toys (or TFs toys) for others will just compare prices to other stores here (if that). Ones who have been buying for their kid for a year or two, will just see it as being a set price that (in their mind) is defying inflation all these years.
It takes the more informed collectors who window-shop internationally, to know that the consumers here aren't getting a good deal from the toy industry. (the head officices in America set the prices, the non-American branches pass that on, and the retailers can't sell below a certain price to be able to make a profit - everyone's hands are tied by the top of the food chain - the American Head Office of the toy companies who are getting fat off the exchange rates and don't want to give that up)

And I completely understand your comments Griffin, and understand the point of the general consumer (read: parents) buying these toys thinking they are getting a decent deal price wise in terms of no rises for what appear to be similar sized tf toys. It's not right, and something I wish a non gutless version of the ACCC could step in and fix.
